🧹 The Playa’s Final Cleanup
The Burning Man experience doesn’t end when camp is packed. Participants must complete their final Leave No Trace and MOOP sweep, dismantle temporary structures and leave their camping area as clean as possible.
🎨 Where Does the Art Go After Burning Man?
The massive sculptures, interactive installations and creative projects of Black Rock City now begin their next chapter. Depending on the project, artwork may be dismantled, stored, transported, rebuilt, exhibited elsewhere, reused or retired.

Thousands of participants are preparing to leave Black Rock City. Exodus traffic can be extremely slow, and past peak periods have seen 6–9 hours from Greeters to County Road 34, with additional travel time possible before reaching Reno.
Before leaving, burners should check current travel conditions through GARS 95.1 FM and official Burning Man updates, secure their vehicles and keep water, food and essential supplies accessible.
🧹 Final Camp Cleanup & Leave No Trace
Before heading out, participants are completing their final MOOP and Leave No Trace sweep. Check around tents, vehicles, shade structures and camp areas, including underneath and around equipment.
Burning Man’s temporary city is expected to disappear with as little evidence as possible after the event.
